What I fail to understand is why would it be bad anyways if all Wii gamers were little kids, women, and "hardcore Nintendo gamers". Are people becoming such elitist that this is an insult? I find that quite disturbing. Especially considering most of the "hardcore Nintendo gamers" are probably the elitist gamers of the 80s and 90s who laugh at how mainstream gaming has gotten with shooters, racers, and sports games. It definitely goes both ways.
It's obvious this dev has some issues with Nintendo probably from Nintendo's strictness over the years with quality and content which only just opened with Wii and DS and the end of the GC years. Probably has nothing to do with Wii and DS.
But other than that it's just another example of a grown man crying which is quite funny and pathetic. However, I must question the negativity of male gamers towards little kids and women gamers. Are they second class gamers and plagues to have as console and handheld owners? This whole elitist thing tied with the "new age" hardcore gamers is nonetheless disturbing.
