What will happen here, by this charge, is that you get less demos. Less demos mean less sales. Less sales mean less income. Even now, you don't see as many demos for the PS3 as there are for the 360. Also, you don't have anything like Community games on the PSN. Garage games are nearly devoid on the PS3. Oh, there is LittleBigPlanet, but that is not a revenue stream. With Community games, you have something that can become a revenue stream, and ALL of them have demos (timed play throughs). Because of the way Live is set up, it encourages people to do Community games. On the PS3, it would be an additional cost to Indie developers.

Well, Sony has to get its money from somewhere.
