I respect that that is probably your opinion, I was just interested in the why. We will probably see more 1080p native content once 1080p is the industry standard and PS3 game engines become well optimised.

IMO so far various 720p native games look near equally good upscaled when compared to various native 1080p games. 1080p demands more from the console than 720p does (in terms of framerate as well as in terms of assets, without which 1080p rendering would be pretty much overkill), so more can be achieved in 720p at this point for various types of games.

In fact, I raised that point because it is a bit of a frustration for me.I had numerous discussion about graphical quality between the 2 plateform and I'm curious to see that LBP and Killzone 2 (I'm expecting MGS4 tonight) are stucked in 720p

This is especially embarrasing for KZ2 because I agree that it is has superior graphics in terms of lighs, weather effects and colors ... but it is a bit ruined by weak texturing and the screen definition. And to me, it is something unacceptable for such blockbuster. It really feels weird to me when I'm playing: Sometimes I say "WAOUUUW look at that" and a moment later it is "what the crap is that things ?".

So yes, again that is just me, but I really feel the difference between the two modes and that is something that is annoying me... It is not ruining the gaming experience but it gives a poor impression ...a bit unbalanced...

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
