I don't understand about people complaing about making jrpg for 360, if they have the money why they don't just go and buy a 360 to play the games they like? It's just like saying that if a movie that really want to watch aren't showed in my favourite channel i just won't watch it. |
I don't see the point in ignoring or brushing aside the DS and PSP just because they're handhelds. They are the two JRPG powerhouses, and it's looking more and more likely that the future is only going to get brighter for them and bleeker for consoles. The 360 doesn't look like a JRPG machine at all in my eyes. It's merely the most productive console, but to put it up against powerhouse JRPG consoles of year's past, it's in pathetic shape and the well has seemingly run dry. There is currently nothing on the horizon. However over the course of the next 9 months, the DS and PSP both will produce five times as many JRPGs as the 360 has had in it's entire lifetime thus far.
Discounting the handhelds as the champs just for being handhelds is no better than discounting the Wii as the sales champ because it's "different" or "is catering to a seperate market". The 360 gets the bronze medal though if that makes anybody feel any better.
