It must meet 4 basic principles.
1.renewable energy to get us off foreign oil.
2.better eduction
3.investment in healthcare reform
4.reduce deficit by half, by the end of first term.
What about protecting my civil liberties? I thought that's what government is for.
He said that in 10 years he will decrease government spending as a share of our economy to the lowest in half a century.
He did not say what that spending will be, and what the economy will be. This is one of the biggest issues I have with Obama. He is always vague. I would like him to use real numbers for a change.
For example. #4 looks great when he words it like he does. What he does not tell you, is what that deficit will be. It will be over $500 billion. He can say he is going to “cut the deficit by half”, because this year it's going to be 1.3 trillion, or more. Sounds good when you say your going to cut it on half, when you don't tell people what they really means.
