Me with fanboy nonsense? Are you serious? Please check out my other posts regarding Killzone 2. I have been critical of the game, or more like critical of the buzz about the game. If you don't know what I have written, you wouldn't know it. Anyone want to chime in here and argue how I have been a fanboy? I had been harsh about it. But what can I say? The main knock I have with the game is that I wasn't able to bring up aim assist (it can use it). That's right, that is my main knock on it. I pointed out other criticisms of the game, and why I don't think they matter. I did mention them though, if you read my comments. |
I wouldn't sweat it. I certainly never got the impression that you were a fanboy, let alone a PS3 fanboy.
The poster who 'called you out' has a relative short history of condescending remarks, implicating people as children and is often needlessly confrontational. I wouldn't take much of what (s)he says with much weight.
OT: Good, fair review. I however really disliked many more aspects of the game. Although I haven't played it much (only when I'm at a friend's house), my biggest complaint, other than no local story co-op, is how slow it felt. It reminded me too much of Gears of War, which in my opinion isn't a good thing. I prefer my shooters to be a bit more arcade-y.
I do agree with you on several points though. Both the story and the atmosphere were pretty interesting and the graphics/style really aided in realizing that world. And I can't say that at any time I really felt... short, either.
edit -Oh and I loved the inclusion of bots! One of my favourite features of Timesplitters.
