IF you mean that in 7 years they may still be selling it, and supporting it in a somewhat limited fashion I think it is *possible*. I'd still guess unlikely, but possible.
IF you mean it is the primary Playstation family console and can effectively compete with the newest MS or Nintendo machine because it is "future proof"...well then you've swallowed far too much of Sony's Marketing department's Kool-Aid.
