I dont even thnk it affects children at all, My cousins who are now 12 and 6 have watched all of mine and my brother M rated games and no one has been disturbing for them, they just see it as a stupid cartoon or unreal, they dont see evil or anything like that. I think if the kid is smart he wont have trouble but if he is stupid you should probably have to keep him locked cus he will do crazy stuff with or without videogames.
As long as it doesnt have porn or real raping or something like that its ok.
