Wii still rare in US? How is this possible.

They're like gold dust in the UK too. Always sell out in minutes when they become available online (except for the enforced bundles which can sometimes be available for a couple of days - you're talking £330 for those though which is circa $660).

 I don't think anyone (including Nintendo) really knows how big the demand for the Wii actually is. It's got the potential to reach phenomenon status I reckon.
