What rumors? Go read the newest Game Informer. They have a huge thing in there about the game. Darth posted it here a few days back. The Big Sister is in the game, so yes that teaser has value to it. I don't think it counts as spoilers if it's covered in a magazine by the developer previous to the launch of the game.

I knew that big sisters were in the game though,

Game Informer got the exclusive story. If the other magazines contradict GI, consider it bullshit.

Also there is only one Big Sister in the game. It's not like Big Daddies where you meet them constantly.
