I didn't ignore that Hamas isn't just a military army. I said they were the duly elected government of the Palestinian people. That makes them a political entity. Please re-read what I said before making accusations.

Despite Fatah's issues (and there are many), they've been a lot better at handling the Israeli issue than Hamas. Fatah hasn't been launching rockets into Israel proper in quite some time.

It's a difficult issue when we're discussing Israeli-Palestinian issues, because it's correct that neither side fought fair. However, the Palestinians did far more - irregular combat, human shields, black propaganda, to fight Israel than the use of WP and 2 civilian shootings. I don't think either side is innocent - both are guilty. But I look at what Hamas has done, and think they've done a little bit more wrong.

Hopefully, however, with the war crimes issue, Israel can go back, and look at the bad press over this kind of stuff, and realize the Palestinians need better conditions - more access to a free market - to hamper some of these issues. Of course, it seems like it's a never-ending cycle thanks to the rocket attacks. I wonder why the West Bank doesn't have these issues?

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
