PS3's savior to be announced tomorrow?

No one game will save the PS3. If Sony actually thinks that, they're never going to break out of their spiral. It takes a set of quality games in close proximity.

thats not generally true. Microsoft really truly cares about 1 game (Halo) and they arent doing that bad.

Even if that were true, Microsoft isn't in a state where people usually think they need saving (in America at least). Microsoft has also put a lot of stock into other games besides Halo: Gears of War, Bioshock, and Mass Effect to name a few. They just put as much as they do into Halo because they know they'll get their money back and more. I guarantee you that if Mass Effect turns out to be huge, they will hype the hell out of the next two.
