Except that it doesn't make really sense, if you really stop to think about it.

Why should we split a theoretical "market" between Wii, 360 and PS3? It's not like they are catering to the same set of people. There are customers of 360 and PS3 who would never buy a Wii, and customers of a Wii who would never buy a console without a wiimote or a balance board.

As such that "market" you are considering shares of, doesn't really exist. And trying to put those three consoles together just because we can and to get three percentage numbers out of them is just bad statistics.
