SCEA, maybe. They said that they aim to have Fiscal Year 2009 be a profitable Fiscal year, and with the massive loss they plan on having in this quarter, I'm inclined to believe that they do have something up their sleeves in order to make it come true.
They are now manufacturing the 45/45 chip (as of February 09), so revised innards with a much lower cost could be on the horizon soon. And if we go into the realm of speculation (which admittedly I hate), we can conjecture that a new PSP is in the works (Whether it is a 4k or PSP2), and with all of the recent announcements of PSP games, it could have vastly improved hardware sales, if it has a good launch this year, bolstering profit more.
So I say, yes, Sony will be profitable this year, maybe not spring, but the FY as a whole will be profitable, quote me on that one.
