Ok, don't worry, as you say, the Wii is the leader system and here is a list of coming games that you should be interested in:

Fatal Frame 4
Monster Hunter 3
Dragon Quest X
The Conduit
Fragile
Final Fantasy: Crystal Bearers
Cursed Mountain
Red Steel 2
Little King Story
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
No More Heroes 2
.
.
.

And all of them are from 3rd parties.

These, but just take a look at this list:  http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=34940

If there aren't many games on that list that you like then I would refrain from getting wii this year. Maybe next year.

Well, looking at that list, the problem becomes more obvious! Lack of western support!

Of the japanese games, I need to investigate Fatal Frame 4, Monster Hunter(s), Little King Story and No More Heroes 2. Those are the only japanese games I might have an interest in.

Red Steel was pretty mediocre as far as I can understand, so I'm cautios about the second one.

The Conduit is going to make or break with its control scheme for me I think (and I am confident it will hold up), but I would still like it to be nice in other areas, which I am not so sure about yet.

And I watched some of those new gameplay movies from Cursed Mountain on IGN earlier, and I really need some reviews/more gameplay before I can decide on it.

Yes from your library of games I'd say you lean toward western tastes. Western Developers are more concerned with the art of games rather than the business side. So they will never fully embrace the wii. But there will be some western devs that do.

EA seems to have some interesting stuff coming, like Dead Space: Extraction, Spore Heroes and Boom Blox. They at least show some effort. Activision will keep cranking out Guitar Heroes and Call of Dutys. Hopefully the wii versions will be even better than the last ones. Retro Studios (yes they are western) will probably announce the game(s) they're working on at E3 this year. Ubisoft has Red Steel 2.......and that's it. Hopefully they get their crap together and release something worth while eventually. It's rumored that THQ might have another wii game or two in the works. High Voltage is releasing Animales de la muerte along with The Conduit. If The Conduit does well they will also do a sequel or two. Rockstar has said that they "can't ignore the wii" so i'd see them developing something original at this point.

I think that pretty much sums up where the wii is in western developer's eyes.

EDIT: The conduit has adjustable controls in every sense of the term so i'm sure you'll like the controls.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."
