Yeah, I think it's going to take A TON of cash!! Might be the hardest trophy to get.

So I ended up playing Mercenaries mode all night yesterday with my friend. We were going through and getting 90,000+ scores consistently for the A rankings to unlock the rest of the characters in co-op. (You need 80,000 to get an A in co-op which is harder than 40,000 you need in single from my experience. You end up fighting the bosses twice as much.)

And we got S rank on 1 level with a little over 120,000 which is what you need for co-op S rank. (60,000 for single player I believe?)

And then I was very surprised when we got one "Double S rank" (SS) for getting 169,000 on the 1st stage with S.T.A.R.S. Wesker. His Hydra barrel shotgun owns!! Before unlocking Wesker and Battle Suit Jill I was doubting our ability to even get an S rank. However with S.T.A.R.S. Wesker we had a 115 combo by the end of it and there was still a 1 minute time bonus to pick up that we didn't grab. My friend was too low on ammo and life to continue ><  

RE5 is so addicting! I'm going to drop big time in the leader boards here. Plus there's no other new games I want to play until May. Wolverine Origins is the next game. I sure hope it turns out good unlike most movie licensed games

 

 

Well SS in solo isn't 80K :(

I broke 84k on the first map and 86k on the second one and didn't get a SS ranking :((

I could have done much better though :(

On map 1 I had done a 49 kills combos, had 60k already and 3 minutes + 1 combo chest left and I died, by comparison for my 84k my highest combo was like 25 or so..

And on map 2 on my 86k score I ran out of shotgun ammo 10 seconds from the end and coudn't kill the third reaper in time due to that ( go go handgun vs reaper) and lost a huge number of points there too...

 

I think I know how those crazy 200k scores are done by the way. For my 49 kills combo I hardly use any  time because I was able to melee every third mob and get a lot of extra time that way, it's just hard to repeat as you need them to come at you 1 at a time for that to work well...
