The software company I work for has over 6000 employees and makes a hefty profit and is still freezing salaries in 2009 in expectation of lower sales due to the recession so there's nothing surprising there.
A huge number of companies are going to do the same thing, it's that or fire employees so rather that..
PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !
PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
