Why a PS3 Price Cut WON'T CHANGE a thing (anti-Propoganda or bitter truth)?

You must mean in the US (the rest of the world sales per region favors the PS3).  And, the gap is 7+ million...not 8+ million according to the last official report.

 

If you don't trust this sites figures then why come here?

On topic I think it would have an effect but as others have said it's not going to cause sales to explode.

 

@Scifiboy - Sony probably didn't wait long enough to lower the price of the PS3 originally.  My guess is their business plan didn't have the expectation they would lag behind the Wii and 360 so bad in its early life, as such they had to lower the price to save the PS3.  Unfortunately if you lower the price of a console too early you are then left trying to make the gap between cuts as longs as possible to get back on track, which is the position they're in now.
