@OP-You need to ask yourself whether being an alcoholic is a problem or an endearing quality. Once you figure that out, then it'll be easier to know whether to go full blown or cut back.

OP: It sounds like you have a problem.  Nip it in the bud now before it gets out of hand.  You don't want to end up like that student that died the other day because he was drinking for 12 hours straight.  It's a great thing that you're acknowledging the problem.
