I've always found american politics sort of comical.
The amount of I_don't_even_know_the_concept required to reduce a 200 million, culturally and ethnically diverse nation into just two options is staggering.
You guys are lucky to have inherited the anglo-saxon majority system, otherwise there'd be at least a dozen political parties taking up seat in Congress.
