It actually is probably better if u play the other Resident Evil games(if u havent)
If you just jumped on it without playin the rest of the games then u probably wuldnt get into it as much but i love the story and im hooked on it
Idk about gettin the plat for it cuz it will take quite a few hours to upgrade all weapons and find all emblems and all that but if i have time and nothin else to play i'd probably do it
