This. A price cut would cost around 10% of their cash reserves, not to mention stuff like minimum cash operating levels and their piling debt which will bite them in the ass sometime during this recession...
Sony is not built to last through big recessions, not currently at least. They have to take some tough medicine and stop throwing money around.
