This is fine. Cambridge used to give offers where you needed 90%+ UMS in one subject... which is all the A* is.
For an A* you need to get 90% UMS (which may or may not be 90% of the raw mark) in all of your A2 modules, except Maths where it's only C3 and C4, and Further Maths where it's only three A2 modules.
I'm going to apply for Nat. Sci at Cambridge, since I'm predicted high As in all of Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths.
