Graphics debate: Realism vs Cartoonish

Depends mostly on the gerne, cute games I usually prefer to be cartoonish (lighting and detail and such being of less value, like Mario 64 or the Simpson Arcade game). Thrilling/dramatic games like Killzone 2 or Heavy Rain games games I usually prefer to be more realisticly styled.
