Am I an alcoholic?

I've noticed I drink signifcantly more than my friends (we are students), and I've found I pretty much rely on being semi-drunk before going out to be in a social situation. 

I also find that I think about drinking/alcohol all day. It really feels like the beginning of an addiction. I don't know, anyone else feel like this?
