A friend who owns both platforms bought the PS3 version. (I think it's a good game for both systems).

Primary reasons

1) Less worries of his XBox 360 refurb dying again on him.
2) PS3 games being multi-regional (he's from the US and now works and lives in the Netherlands).

Secondary reasons

3) Less noisy system.
4) No worries about disc scratches
[5) And he can trade games with me when done. ]

IMO ported games to the PS3 have significantly improved, at least to the point that such reasonings as stated above become more relevant. It's usually very close to the point you have to look very hard to spot differences when running side by side.
