@PullusPardus, i saw it when i was there. Berlin has alot better modern architecture.
Now the sin of bad archicture is concrete. Go to japan.
Now if you want to see phenomenal architecture go to Netherlands, Der Haag or Rotterdam. Berlin is nice, little too "arty" for my tastes, BUT do go to see parliament, the Reichstag while your in Berlin. Its amazing
