Everyone on this site enjoys violence in their games, sparing no one. The only people that don't would be those stuck strictly on puzzle games and alternative games like Tetris, Zuma, Wii Fit, etc.

I think it's more fair to say that everyone enjoys games with violence in them.

I enjoy violence in and of itself at levels which are appropriate to the setting of the game.

How is that different than what I said?

I think he's saying that people may not particularly like the game because it has violence in it, but they like a game that just so happens to have violence in it, and they may be indifferent to the violence.

I don't think anyone can be categorized as indifferent to the violence in games since removing it from most games would substantially change the game it is. You may not go into the Legend of Zelda looking for violence but if it were removed, theres a good chance you would no longer enjoy the game.

There is a semantic difference between enjoying violence and enjoying violent games - Mario has some violence in it, certainly, but I do not enjoy the violence in it in and of itself. However, I do enjoy the violence in, say, God Hand, which directly factors into my enjoyment of the game.

Not all games have their amusement predicated on the different forms of violence they partake in, and each gamer enoys games in different ways.
