I don't know what you mean by southpaw controls. I'm left handed but I usually have my mouse buttons set up as right handed but I completely change my keyboard around.

 

southpaw i believe is when(on a controller) is when left goes right and vice-versa 

 

I've never heard of anyone doing that.  Inverted at least makes sense but that just doesn't make any sense at all.
