I am most surprised that you are defending the use of friendship codes as it has absolutely nothing to do with this in any regard. But I'm sure you are just treating my post as a personal attack on your beloved wii and not taking my argument as a commentary on this societal trend to overprotect ourselves which some people are endorsing here. Friendcodes are Nintendos solution not the parents solution. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony gets sued for this or something like this.
Even though it is clearly the parents responsibility.
