Then again, does the Xbox 360 have a large RPG base? The Japanese that own an Xbox 360, are people that have it as an secondary console and Blue Dragon which did get a lot of attention and hype from Microsoft hasn’t sold that well in Europe and USA. The PS2-RPG fans are more than likely to move to the PS3 since most of the big RPG’s from companies like Level-5 are coming exclusively to the PS3. By the way, Star Ocean IV exclusivity has already been comfirmed and the Last Renmant isn't such big deal (Guess who is making it). |
They owned 17% of Squaresoft, which they bought to help save Square from the Spirits Within fiasco, but when Square and Enix merged to save Enix, Sony gave up almost half it's shares to Enix to help the merger. They now own about 10% of shares in SE as a whole. Either way, SE owes them for a hell of a lot.
