There's nothing wrong with being attracted to children, only acting upon it, and this man wanted to meet up with her. While I don't advocate pedophilia for obvious reasons regarding consent and society and such, it is the little girls fault, or her parents fault, for not teaching her critical thinking. A smaller portion of blame resides on the asshole, for soliciting sex from a minor. The little girl is more to blame for engaging in any sex related talk over PSN in the first place.

I completely disagree. Yes, the guy is sick and should be locked up, but do you think he can help thinking about those things? He's not more to blame than a mental pacient.

Besides, the world is always gonna have dangerous places. Say it's 3 in the morning and you're walking in a known dangerous place, and you choose to walk instead of taking a bus, to save the 2 bucks.
