I think a lot of people have not played half life 2 before. It is my favourite game of all time and i wanted to tell some people out there why i love the games. other people who really enjoyed half life 2 please feel free to comment :)

the graphics: the game looked absolutely amazing when it came out and still looks fabulous today. the game exudes the style which make you feel that city 17 could be a real place

The faces: the people look almost real in half life 2. they all show real emotion and feel truely unique. I'll never feel the same way about a videogame character the way i felt about alex. greatest support character ever.

The enemies: who could forget that beeeeeeeep sound when a sec died. or the grtesque zombies (or zombine lol) fantastic enemy design here, very menacing

open closed world: the game was actually fairly linear, but it allways felt so huge, like you could go anywhere, but just sort of didn't, made the game feel yet again, more real

the missions: the missions were so amazing in that game where you would drive that little car for ages, before coming to an epic environmental puzzle (like that giant suspension bridge) great moments like these.

god powers at the end: Who could forget the blue gravity gun, that feeling of sheer power, like you could defeat anything at the end of the game, one of my favourite moments

the gravity gun: the grav gun revolutionized the fpa in my opinion, adding this unquie puzzle solving and combat device, some really intuitive and inventive game ideas arose just from this one weapon

epic story ang game: This game is one of the most epic games I have ever played, the maps are gigantic, world vast and varied and the story horrific and , well, epic!

the feeling of reality: Half life 2 allways felt incredibly real to me. I ended up feeling for all the people around me and got completely immersed in the game. that is I think the games strongest point imo

fear factor: Ill never forget the feeling of fear i had climbing across the rafter things of the suspension bridge, or outrunning the combine in city 17. the most REAL fear i ever felt in a game

So there you have it. now guys go crazy in the comments. Id like to know what other people liked about this game.
