I simply didn't like the battle system. That's all there is to it for me. I would have perfectly fine playing it if it were turn-based instead.

Forgive me. I was generalizing, and no implications certainly don't extend to everyone. Again, sometimes, generalizing is necessary when facing an overwhelming number of voices.
