Funnily enough, we could step back a generation and switch Leo's name to any Gamecube fan's name to apply it.
It would be wrong then and it is certainly wrong now.
It's like football (or insert your favorite sport here), just because your favorite team isn't doing well that doesn't mean you stop cheering. It means you cheer harder and more vigorously until they can make a turn-around. Cheering for a losing team doesn't mean you're not capable of making rational decisions, rather it simply means you're taking the hard road. There's nothing wrong with being a fair-weather fan of sports or consoles, but you shouldn't insult the people who remain fans even when their team/console is doing poorly.
