yes, only the upper case spelling is a registered trademark "®" afaik, while the lower case spelling is an unregistered trademark that still has trademark rights, because of it's common usage, but it's a "™" - this is rights talk, but I only wanted to emphasis, that PLAYSTATION actually is the more correct way to say it, as it clearly identifies you are talking about that specific product
in official announcements it's always all caps aswell
