Well mine just updated, and is ready to play, they made it with 11 minutes to spare(it's still monday here in washington). Whats ironic about it, is I just launched fortress forever(a half life 2 mod, which is much like team fortress(if by chance you didn't know)) when the updater poped up. As if to say to me, 'no no.. don't play that game you can play tf2 now!'
Edit: well scratch that 'ready to play' line, it acts as if it is, but when I try to launch it, it gives me the preparing to launch window, then drops it back down to downloading, which says 100%, then pops back up to 100% ready, oh it's ready, you just can't play it
