This is the truth, and I don't view most metacritic scores as a standard for buying the games. But there are some games that I am on the fence about getting and sometimes Metacritic can say "hey. this might actually be good (MLB: The Show 09)" or "Hey this game is complete crap." (MLB2k9). MLB2k9 probably is better on the 360, since 2k9 knows The Show will sell better, so it probably is just a cheap port, but for the PS3, it seems to be complete crap.

I also hope I didn't offend too much but there are people who go into these threads just to attempt to put a fail sticker on it, and I honestly thought this was a good thing to post since everyone is still infatuated with the 92 that Killzone 2 has on it. I figured it would be good to show positivity for another great Ps3 game.

I think the fact that both Metacritic and GameRankings collect reviews from some unkown sources will make them unreliable, I mean Metacritic always put a "LEVEL (Czech Republic)" without giving any source, so how should we know they are unbiased and reliable reviews?

But yeah, I agree with you, checking them out to see how a game is doing critically is not a bad thing, but arguing over what game has AAA status is kinda childish.
