I play REmake once a year and I still love it to death. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the movement based on the way the character is looking to a general up=up controls and you have a perfect game that will score 8plus if done well.

The problem here is that the movement limitations in the original game were intentional - one of the primary signifying facets of horror games is limitations on how one can affect the game world. Resident Evil did this beautifully back when it came out.

They would need to reconsider their approach to horror altogether, nowadays.
