Then, with the current quality line up of games, a PS3 price cut could be quite vicious toward the competition. It's starting to become clear to people that the nasty negative press towards the PS3 is unfounded, so they are starting to ignore it. It might even be pushing a lot of people towards the PS3 (opposite of the desired effect). For 2008, PS3 worldwide hardware sales were only 30K behind X360. That says it all.

Um, no. The 360 was ahead in 2008 worldwide sales by about 800,000.
