Ironically the same constitutional protection that the Supreme Court uses to uphold a person's right to choose whether to send their kid to public or private school, to choose what religion they teach their kid, and to use or not use contraception is the right they use to protect a woman's right to have an abortion.
People love to malign that right to privacy stuff until you suggest that the government take away any of those other rights to privacy.
