Straight from the mouth of Kazuo Hirai himself, the SCE current head honcho. Also how the hell can they even afford to BUY a exclusive? They're so deep in the red its not funny. Plus Sony has plenty of inhouse talent.

I am really suprise at all the love Tecmo is suddenly lavishing on Sony, it was not a year ago that they were almost exclusively MS; all their key title where coming out on the 360, this suddenly reversal almost feel like a 'revenge of the jilted lover'.

 

Tecmo HAD Tomonobu Itagaki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomonobu_Itagaki ) , which is the biggest loud mouth in gaming industry,he hates everything Sony Related,he shuns the PSP and the PS3 to the point of stupidity , but when he left Tecmo he sued his own company (Cheap Bastard) and gave their President a bad name for not "Living up for his promises", so i think the main reason for Tecmo + Sony relation is related to this. so the better way to call it "Revenge of the backstaber"

Hmm I know of Itagaki (being a loud mouth anyways) but I never realize he was the Japanese equivilant of Gabe Newell when it comes to PS3 development... Wasn't he the one that said PS3 development is not hard at all and that anyone who thinks its hard is an idiot who couldn't survive the 8 bit era?
