Lunar is very good, Theres actually too many to pick a single one, heres a few i still remember =)
Xenogears has quite a few epic moments, like when its revealed that Fei is ID and his whole second personality problem.
FFVII finding out what really happended in the flash back when Sephiroth went insane.
Chrono Cross when you explore the dead sea, a city turn into a wasterland by devastating catalism that you find frozen in time, also the music when you explore this is haunting, love this game, im getting the urge to play it now lol
