I don't think venetica is very much anticipated. Jan 7th I edited the wiki to change all their names to Clue characters. It took 21 days for that to be fixed. Just check the page edit history.

I think the hint they are really taking from nintendo is not just to hold back announcements, but hold back releases, development, and rumors.
