releasing 1st has in part helped MS pip Sony this gen, so they will probs adopt a similar strategy next gen, i expect a PS4 in 2012 or 2013, and a Wii 2 in 2011 or 2012

 

Yes, and how many times have companies done something right the same way twice? More often they will fuck up twice. I think PS4 will be first TBH.

 

PS4 first? i doubt it, the PS3 cost Sony alot of money, they cant afford to release till 2012 imo, M$ and Nintendo can afford to release before then.

 

Sony started making money off every PS3 sold mid november, also they still have over 2 BILLION dollars save up from the PS1 and PS2. Microsoft is down by billions due to their gaming part. The PS4 would only really need a better cell, and a better grapohics card.I cant imagine either would be very hard to come up with at their stage. The hard struff with the cell is done with.

How many stupid pills you take this morning?  Sony still hasn't even started profitting off of PS3 hardware.  As of November they were still losing roughly $50-100 USD per console sold!

Also, the Cell really is a flawed concept.  It's not meant to be used as a dedicated gaming CPU.  They need to rethink they architecture of the CPU for the next console or suffer even more complications with developers and programming.  It's built for physics and calculations, which play a part in games, is not the big part.  Make an actual CPU with REAL 7-8 cores and it would be better.  They would also need to add more memory as well as the better GPU.
