You guys don't get it at all. I think it's more to do with the portrayal of the continent and it's indigenous people than the zombies that are being killed. There's also the possibility of a misconstrued hidden agenda about lighter skin = better. Notice how Sheva is much lighter than the other Africans when she's supposed to be from there and how the lighting is designed such that only the eyes of some other indigenous people manage to show.
