Whiplash is a woman in the regular Marvel universe. Backlash is her husband.
In the Ultimates universe, Whiplash is now a man. Iron Man I believe is taking from the Ultimates universe since they used Sam Jackson as Nick Fury, so it would make sense to make Whiplash a man.
What a lame-o villian though. Where the fuck is Mandarin or Doctor Doom already?
