How are PSP games not profitable for Sony? They get a liscensing fee for every game produced... and it costs them nothing for the majority of them.

The only thing that's losing Sony big bucks is the PS3 in the gaming department.

It's not somethign you can get around.  The numbers are right infront of your eyes up there.  The loses coincide with the PS3.  It's not some magical coincidence.

Ask sony themselves and they'll tell you.  The PS3 lost them tons of money.

Do you honestly expect the PS3 to ever be more successful then the PS2 in terms of profit?

If not... the PS3 will end the generation costing Sony money.

How is that not a failure?

Actually, when PS1 was launched Sony had one of the biggest lost they made. But they did managed to MAKE PROFIT FROM PS1 LATER and made billions on Playstation brand.

In fact, Sony had 2 big losses. In 1995 when Ps1 was launched and in 2008 in PS3's second year. But sony made profit from PS1 and i am sure they are gonna make profit from PS3.

Got any info from that?  Cause i'm looking direclty at their financial reports and I don't see it.

Where they lost like over a billion dollars on the PS1 it's first year.  (Let alone first two.)

If you need to go looking.

I saw it here on vgchartz. but i really cant remember the name. Search in Archive in General News

So... you want me to search this site for something you think  you might of saw when it isn't apparent in the financial report?

If it's not in the financial report it didn't happen.  I've provided you with the financial reports (which is more then fair) if you want to prove your point.  Go ahead and point it out and support it.

dude, if you dont wanna spend less than 5 minutes to search the news just because you dont wanna see i am right thats your thing :)

If it's your point it's yours to prove.

I went to the trouble of actually tracking down the actual financial report.

The final and definitive say on the matter.

The PS1 never lost anywhere near what the PS3 did.

Your wrong.  Just admit it and move on... or find what i might of missed from the document.

It's right infront of you but apparently your too afraid to realize your wrong.  I've looked through it... and it seems to prove you as such.
