| dallas said: All of the studios would be willing to switch for the $$$, not just Warner/Paramount etc. If the price offered is high enough, they'll switch in a heartbeat, but it looks like whatever The HD-DVD people offered wasn't worth their while so Warner looks like it will be neutral for a while. And as whether the HDDVD people will be able to win through offering financial incentives, that is a tactic that the BD people have as well, and a more effective one at that since they currently have a lot more corporate support around the format.

The rational answer is that you can't predict the future based on assuming currect factors will not change.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
