@Phoenix_Wiight

Exactly it did somewhat well on the DS but surely bombed on the Wii. Both Trauma Center's did pretty bad on the Wii.

How so?  Their sales pretty good to me... espeically considering that the games presntation.

I followed both of these games fairly well. I have not owned or played both but sales wise I can understand that this franchise is slowing on a decline. Why?

Trauma Center: Second Opinion sold----->540k the sequel New Blood sold 143k--->a huge decline!!

Trauma Center: Under the Knife sold----> 280k then the sequel sold 6k----> a huge decline!!

Fact is fans may receive the game as being awesome. I like the look of the games and I want these games but this thread is talking about why Atlus forecast a lose.

That 143K doesn't have any europeon data behind it...

Aside from which.  How is 500K bad?  It's the same as persona... and the whole game is static backgrounds and characters.

Like seriously.  They use the SRPG "4 portraits" trick for dialog... the games definitly made profit.

Uh? I never said 500k was bad I said the sequel to Second Opinion which was New Blood sold really bad. Again as you presented we don't have Japanese data or European data for New Blood to claim it sold bad overall worldwide, but in American New Blood did good.

Look at the above presentation and try and tell me the game didn't make a profit...
